Welcome to William's edb's homepage (edb is Danish for edp, which in turn is short for Electronic Data
Processing, nowadays called IT).
The main rule of computer science sounds:
"An IT system should fulfill the user's needs. No less. No more."
William's edb has almost 30 years of experience with the development of whole IT solutions, with the user
in the center.
Much attention is paid upon making the daily use of the systems as intuitive, easy and ergonomical as
possible, so that IT solutions become an aid and not a necessary evil.
A prerequisite for a successful product is that the user participates all the way from idea to the
final product.
William's edb has long experience in the making of the necessary documents in close dialogue with the
customer and also with socalled prototyping, which shows how the final product will look and feel.
Hereby expensive changes in the final product are avoided and it's much easier to keep the development
on schedule.
A bi-product from working with user interfaces is a library of re-usable components (ActiveX controls)
which can be used by other IT developers in the development of Windows based systems with the latest
.Net technology.
William's edb can also help with development of further components as needed.
During the years William's edb has also developed a number of smaller, but still useful standard
applications, which are under preparation for sale (the Apps menu).
